Has Apple Computer Gotten too Greedy?

In the past when I thought about Apple or Mac, what came to my mid was:

Small proprietary company, that always did things by the book, but always placed cutting edge technology first and as a result have been able to do well in the market financially.

But with the type of a this is the situation with the price fixing allegations (see video and links below).  What are your thoughts on this?

DOJ files ebook price fixing lawsuit against Apple – The U.S. Department of Justice has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple and five large publishers, accusing the companies of working together to raise prices of e-books.  Defendants in the lawsuit, filed Wednesday, are Apple, Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins Publishers, Macmillan, Penguin Group and Simon & Schuster.
