Website Rank - John’z PC Hut

computer.thumbnail Website Rank - John’z PC HutFor the past three (3) weeks I have worked about 100 hours trying to refresh and revamp this website in an attempt to increase the rank on the major search engines.

To say it has been frustrating would be an understatement. I have been spending time on some of the SEO forums and I have been reading e-books on SEO and have made changes based upon what I have read.

    To date I have:

    • Made sure my titles and descriptions and keywords tags are unique and relevant to the content on each page
    • Cleaned up the the coding errors I may have had
    • Added a custom error page for 404 errors
    • Added both HTML and XML sitemaps
    • Added a blog page

“Patience”, is the word I am now hearing from everyone, “It takes time, is what they say.”

The site www.johnzpchut.com itself is for new computer users and anyone else who just wants to know more about computers.

I started the web site in 2001, but despite what I consider very good (FREE) content, it has never enjoyed more than a 1/10 ranking on Google.

    It is very frustrating…

    Sincerely,

    John
